Book Cover Design

I was tasked with creating a book cover for a horror themed title. My initial concepts led me down a path towards cartoon styled graphics. After deciding on a tentacle theme, the challenge was keeping the tentacles comic, although still giving a spooky feel. Emphasis was always going to be on the tentacles with the use of contrasting colours and the right scale of the design.
